Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club were delighted to host the final and patrons day of its eagerly anticipated Golf Society League on Saturday 27th of June. The final of the popular event supported by BMW and World Wide Golf was scheduled for 11th of April and thankfully the finalists waited patiently so we could conclude the event. Nearly forty golfers descended on SGSC all trying to get their hands on the great prizes put up by Centro Sharjah Hotel by Rotana. Playing stableford from the White tees is was Shaheen Butt who topped Division A with a great score of nineteen points one under par. The rescheduled fourth round of the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club Golf Society League supported by BMW Worldwide Golf was staged on Saturday 25th of January with the top 4 teams in each league securing unassailable leads ahead of the fifth and final round. The top 4 from each league progress to the quarter finals meaning the February 8th fixture will focus on final placings (which determine QF seeding’s) and the customary day’s prizes. Unitechnik Monthly Stableford- PRESS RELEASE- 27th December 2019 The Unitechnik monthly Stableford was competed for on Friday and it was SGSC member Y.D Kim who was the man on form to claim the title. Mr Kim had a sensational back 9 which included 5 net birdies in the last 6 holes for a 9 hole stableford score of 23, he added this to his solid front 9 of 17 points for a total of 40 points winning by 3 points.
