The BMW Series Open Social was hosted on the 28th December 2018. Competitors faced a format of 4 ball better ball for the front nine and a Texas Scramble format for the back nine.
Topping the pile on the day was the pairing of good friends Aadil Khan & Haneef Rabbani, who returned a score of 60 that no one else in the field was able to match. The pair dovetailed exceptionally well, for the better ball format they collaborated well to post a very impressive 9 hole score of 30. They managed to maintain this fine form of golf on the back 9 with a Texas scramble score also of 30 resulting in overall score of 60 & the day’s victory.
Other winners on the day were Sunny Ramadas and David Yeo who posted an excellent 30 in the betterball format to win best front 9 unfortunately the pair fell away slightly on the back 9. Back 9 winners were Vivian Verma and current SGSC Captain Sanjoy Das who posted a solid score of 31 in the Texas scramble format.
