Emirati Golfer and Emirates Golf Federation Board Member Rashed Al Jarwan leads after the first week of the Golf World Ramadan Stableford Series being held at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club. 4 rounds were held between the first day of Ramadan (May 19th) and Thursday 23rd with Al Jarwan participating in all 4. Over the course of the 21 qualifying rounds each players best 5 combined scores will count towards their final total with a Titleist 917 driver, fairway wood and Vokey Wedge being the overall prizes. Al Jarwan leads the way after week one with 65 points achieved from his 4 rounds with fellow Emirati Yousef Al Ali second on 58. After the 4 fixtures 53 rounds had been played with the 4 different daily winners including Zi Hao Su (Titleist cap), David Murphy (Brand Fusion best putt) Yousef Al Ali (ball retriever) and Hanief Sallie (1 dozen Bridgestone balls).
