Fisher adds another win to his collection

4th SGSC Mid- Amateur Gross Open Supported by SWINGFIT 2019

Nathan Fisher played in his first Gross Mid-Amateur Championship supported by SWINGFIT on Saturday, he hasn’t played before as he was not old enough but he made his mark on his first attempt. The event has recently been given Major status at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club and Nathan is no stranger to the majors at the club with his name already up on several boards. Nathan the SGSC member started strong playing the front nine in one under par he dropped three shots on the back nine but posted an excellent seventy four which proved enough to be crowned this years champion.

Two players came close with EGF member Ramsey Yassan and SGSC member Namir Al Naimi who both played some excellent golf but couldn’t catch Fisher. Namir claimed second spot on countback with Ramsey taking third both shooting a respectable seventy six. The net prize on the day was won by SGSC member Mohan GC with a quite frankly excellent round of golf including six net birdies and a net eagle. Mohan retuned a net score of sixty eight to claim first place net. Paul Mcmahon from EGF settled for second place with a very solid level par seventy two.

The event was well attended and played in a competitive spirit all players looking to win the great prizes put up by SWINGFIT.
