- The membership card must be presented at the time of entrance and/or by request if required.
- The management reserves the right to revise and/or change the tariffs or membership fees (visit the club’s website or main reception for details) and club operating hours without prior notice.
- Members and guests use all SGSC facilities entirely at their own risk. SGSC cannot be held responsible for any injury or death to or caused by a member, guest or a third party.
- Members and their guests are not allowed to bring any food or beverages purchased elsewhere onto the premises.
- Roller skates/blades, footballs, inflatable toys, skateboards, bicycles etc, are not permitted.
- Due to health and safety considerations pets are not permitted on the premises.
- The use of cameras, video cameras, cell phone cameras etc. are permitted on condition that the privacy of fellow members and guests is not violated.
- Members and guests are expected to adhere to the dress code of the club’s respective facilities.
- Approval of membership is at the sole discretion of the management who reserve the right to forfeit membership in case of any breach of the club rules, regulations, terms and conditions.
- Management cannot be held liable for any loss, theft or damage of members, or guests’ private properties and valuables.
- Non-members and persons entrusted with the supervision of junior members are not entitled to the use of any of the club’s recreational or sports facilities.
- Members are entitled to use the club facilities and receive discounts in accordance with the bene ts allocated to respective membership categories as indicated on the table of discounts.
- The membership card will be ready within 2 working days from the date of remittance of fee and all required documents. Non receipt of Membership card is not reason for extending expiry date.
- Persons above 18 years of age must apply for separate memberships.
- Should a membership card be lost; the member should immediately notify the club reception. A cost of 55 AED shall be levied for issuing a new card.
- Membership not renewed within 1 month from the date of expiration date will result in a new membership application and joining fee.

- Golf Memberships are on annual basis and run for one year from the day of joining.
- Booking and Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy for Members
To enhance the golfing experience and ensure fair access to tee times, we have established the following booking and cancellation policy for members
1. Advance Booking: Members may book tee times up to 10 days in advance.
2.Name Requirement: All bookings must include the names of ALL participants. This information is essential for our records and helps manage our tee time allocation effectively.
3.Tournament Bookings: A payment link will be sent one week prior to the event to secure your spot. A valid cancellation reason will give you credit for a future event.
- Members Cancellation Policy
- 1. Cancellation Notice: Members must provide at least 12 hours’ notice when cancelling a scheduled tee time or player from the group.
- 2.Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled tee time will result in a cancellation fee of AED100 per player. A payment link will be sent and no other bookings will be taken until this is cleared.
- 3.No-Show Policy: Members who do not show up for their scheduled tee time without prior cancellation will be asked to pay the full rack green fee rate.
- 4.Exceptions: Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, such as medical emergencies or family emergencies, may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Members should contact the club management to discuss.
- 5.Communication: All cancellations should be communicated directly to the club’s golf reception.
- Memberships can be transferred (upon management approval) but not terminated year 1.
- From year 2 onwards memberships may be terminated but the member must provide 30 days’ written notice to the reception or via the club’s contact address (as detailed on the members application form) and 75% of the pro – rata balance will be refunded
- Annual EGF affiliation fees are compulsory for all golf members and subject to different T&C’s.
- Members drive on any golf cart entirely at their own risk. The driver is considered fully responsible for any damages and subsequent expenses to include possible injury or death (to them- selves, their passengers or any other facility users) and resulting damage to any SGSC property.
- Valet members leave items in their locker or golf bag entirely at their own risk.
- SGSC has the right to enter lockers at any time and without prior notification.
- Loss of a locker key will result in an AED 55 charge.
- Items left in a locker 1 month after an expired membership will be transferred to lost property and dealt with under its appropriate policy
