Annual Corporate Membership

1. 1. Cards: (No. of Executive & Wild cards depends upon the type of the corporate membership)
      1. Executive cards– These cards are non-interchangeable. Cardholders are decided at the time of joining. The executive cardholders can be changed a maximum of once within the membership year if required. An admin fee of AED 55 applies. EGF Membership (see clause 6) is non transferrable.
      2. Wild Cards– These are freely interchangeable cards.
   2. Green Fees:
      1. 1. Green fees apply to the respective membership category as outlined below:

         2. In line with point (a), the below members’ rates apply to Wild cards within the daily allocation.  Executive cards are always exempt from daily allocation (but additional fees/levies may apply for tournament entries).

         Please note that the green fee rates are subject to change without any prior notice according to season and time. Up-dates of green fee rates will be available on the website www.golfandshootingshj.com However SGSC will endeavour to inform all corporate members in writing of any changes in rates with 15 days’ notice

1. 1. Allocation & Tournament Entry: Allocations of corporate holes are only valid for social play for Wild cards. Executive cards may join the member’s events (if they’ve a valid handicap) but additional fees/levy may apply for tournament entry.
   2. Sale of green fees: Corporate members are not permitted to sell golf rounds at SGSC publicly for less than published preferential rates. If any evidence found, it can lead to suspension and possible termination of membership with immediate effect. No existing reservations need be honored and 75% of the memberships remaining value (balance) on the day of termination will be refunded.
   3. Corporate Golf Day: Corporate members are entitled to 1 Corporate Golf Day (for a maximum of 60 pax, excludes Friday’s) to be held within their membership year. All the tournament administration (scoring, logoed format sheet, scorecard preparation, draws, announcement, branding display, etc.) are included. SGSC will provide a green fee discount relative to the overall value of the membership. Below is the discount calculation formula:
      • If the corporate memberships annual subscription is AED 11,000 then 5.5% discount will be provided on the members green fee rate (Members green fee rate is AED170/AED130 per person On/Off-peak)
        11 K/2= 5.5%
      • If the corporate memberships annual subscription is AED 132,000 then 66% discount will be provided on the members green fee rate (Members green fee rate is AED170/AED130 per person On/Off-peak)
        132 K/2= 66%
   4. Mandatory EGF subscription for Executive Cardholders: As Executive Cardholders are considered members of the club they must, as per the UAE Ministry for Sport, pay golfs governing body (the Emirates Golf Federation) the EGF affiliate membership subscription fee.  This amount can be paid at SGSC at the time of joining/nomination.  The amount can be shouldered by the company or the individual but EGF subscriptions operate under separate terms and conditions to SGSC memberships (visit egfgolf.com for further details). Entitlements include an official and internationally recognised USGA handicap, third party and property golf insurance, discounts at other UAE golf clubs, and more.
   5. Tournament Support Sponsorship: Corporate members are entitled to a discounted support sponsorship for one of the SGSC tournaments/events.SGSC will provide a sponsorship discount relative to the overall value of the membership. Below is the calculation formula:
      • If the corporate membership is AED 11,000 then 5.5% discount on the standard sponsorship rate will be provided
        11K/2= 5.5%
      • If the corporate membership is AED 132,000 then 66% discount on the standard sponsorship rate will be provided
        132K /2= 66%

      Note: This discount can only be guaranteed on the first year of membership.

1. 1. Cancellation & No Shows:
      1. Reservations must be cancelled no later than 24 hours before a reserved time of play to avoid any penalties.
      2. Bookings that are made within a 24 hour time frame will be required to contact golf reservations a minimum of 2 hours prior to the time of play to cancel or amend the number of players in the booking.
      3. If players fail to show up for a reservation or honor any booking without advising golf reservations, The corporate member will as a result forfeit holes as indicated below in clause 8d on dates as selected by SGSC.
      4. The following chart is a guideline for reoccurring breaches of clauses a, b & c:

      1 x daily hole allocation upwards	For every additional breach, an equal number of holes (to that of the reservation) will be deducted from the Corporate member’s allocation the following month.  The date selected is entirely at the discretion of the SGSC.

      • To nullify the deduction, the member’s rate can be paid for the original reservation.
      • SGSC will endeavor to inform the First Party of the date/s selected for the ‘penalty holes’.

1. 1. Course access :
      • SGSC will make every effort to ensure that the corporate member’s daily allocation is always available at the opening of the advance booking window. SGSC cannot however always guarantee that the available tee times will be at the time required by corporate members.  The corporate member is also to acknowledge that the later they make a reservation, the less availability there will be on tee times – especially at peak times.
      • For the week of the Sharjah Senior Golf Masters SGSC reserves the right to close the course and driving range entirely for up to 8 days.
      • In addition up to 3 weekends per year due to major events, SGSC reserves the right to limit the availability of weekend tee times to evening play only.
      • All the above days/dates can be clearly communicated, on request, on the publication of each winter/summer calendar.
      • SGSC has the right to close the course for maintenance, irrigation, or operational purposes but will always endeavor to do so on days and at times at which it believes will affect the majority of members and guests as little as possible.

1. 1. Membership limits:
      1. SGSC reserves the right to close any given membership category at its own discretion.
      2. SGSC reserves the right to limit the number of Full Corporate memberships to 1 per company/entity to include sister and partner companies or alike

1. Changes & Amendments: These terms & conditions may be changed at any time and without prior notice. The latest version will be that which is published on the SGSC web site golfandshootingshj.com at any time.

Other SGSC Terms and Conditions

1. The membership card must be presented at the time of entrance and/or by request if required.
2. All tariff information is available at the reception desk and is subjected to changes. The management reserves the right to revise and / or change the membership fees without prior notice. However, SGSC will endeavor to inform corporate members in writing of any changes in rates with 15 days’ notice.
3. Members and their guest are not allowed to bring any food or beverages purchased elsewhere onto the premises.
4. Rollers skates/blades, footballs, inflatable toys, skateboards, bicycles, etc. shall not be permitted on the premises.
5. Due to health and safety considerations pets are not permitted on the premises.
6. The use of cameras, video cameras, cell phone cameras, etc. is permitted on the condition that the privacy of fellow members and guests is not violated.
7. Members and their guests are expected to adhere to the dress code of each of the club’s respective facilities.
8. Approval of membership is at the sole discretion of the management which reserves the right to forfeit membership in case of any breach of the club rules, regulations, terms and conditions.
9. Management cannot be held liable for any loss, theft or damage of members’ or guests’ private properties and valuables.
10. Both parties agree to abide by the terms and conditions mentioned in this Membership Contract.
