On Saturday, May 31st, Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club hosted the BMW Open Social, drawing a strong field of golfers for a shootout under the summer sun. Sponsored by AGMC, the competition followed a better ball format across the club’s well kept course.
Suresh Shewakramani and Shahid Habib posted the top score of the day, finishing 15-under-par thanks to a solid round that included ten net birdies and three net eagles. Their perfect dovetailing earned them first place and the event’s main prize.
Additional awards were given for standout nine hole performances. Kim Daeil and Young Koo Kang claimed the best front nine with a 7-under-par (29), while Mani Thandapani and Zamir Bukhari secured the best back nine honors with an 8-under-par (28).
