As a change to the normal Centro Sharjah midweek tournament a pair’s betterball stableford event took place on Tuesday at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. A strong field all trying to win the great prizes put up by Centro Hotel Sharjah. Competitors played from the blue tees and there was some great golf played on the night. Dovetailing exceptionally well and winning the event was the pairing of Suhail Warsi and Samiuddin Siddique with a very impressive score of twenty one points both taking home a voucher for a 1 night stay at Centro for 2 + a Pro Shop Voucher. In second place only losing out via countback was Shaheen Butt and Faizeen Bhyat both played very well to produce a total of twenty one points and settled for the runner up spot but claimed pro shop vouchers for their efforts. In third place one point behind first and second was SGSC Director of Golf Martin Duff and his partner Namir Al Naimi on twenty points. Martin and Namir also received pro shop vouchers.
